On April 22, 2021, World Earth Day join an international prayer service to protect our planet. This prayer unites people of different traditions and cultures in a single intention.
Organized by the Arya Sangha Association of Buddhist Communities (Russia) together with H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, this prayer is a part of our global campaign for ecology named "Baikal — Pure Chalice Of Our Planet"

The head of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, met with Shaman Bair Tsyrendorzhiyev on his trip to Baikal. Bair Tsyrendorzhiev drew attention to Lake Baikal's problems and proposed to hold prayer services to protect peace and the environment. An agreement was signed on cooperation for the wellbeing of the Earth.
February 19, 2021
Arya Sangha Association of Buddhist Communities held an online conference "Baikal - a Pure Chalice of the Planet." H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, Zaarin Boo Bair Tsyrendorzhiev, and shamans of the Tengeri Center, Buddhists of Buryatia, environmental scientists, and activists took part in the conference. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang suggested to hold an interfaith prayer service on Earth Day on April 22 to protect the whole planet and Lake Baikal because pandemics and cataclysms are sweeping the world.

The Arya Sangha Association is organizing an international prayer service, Global Medicine Wheel. More than 200 centers of various religions around the world will participate.
